Best Custom Residence

The design of this high end custom residence evolved from a simple remodel into a complex project expanding the basement depth and roof lines.  The existing home, built in 1997, did not suit the owner's needs.  It had been remodeled previously, and initially, the new owners intended to do a minor remodel.

As the project progressed, it developed into a complete demolition and rebuilding of the home on the existing foundation.  The archtiect redesigned the existing shell to open the space and create more ranch style spaces.

The design culminated in solid walnut floors, custom knotty alder cabinets, knotty alder windows and numerous other finishes that reflected the owner's desires.  High end craftsmanship is exhibited in the copper trim on the roof and exterior accents, custom cabinetry and trim work, doors and specialty stained glass windows, the custom made wrought iron hand rails, and several other detailed touches throughout the house.
